This original crow painting shows the crow standing on a branch by the light of the moon. She is speaking her truth and being honest with herself.

By layering tones blue, green indigo and yellow ochre, the painting has a dream -like feel with her surroundings merging together and seeping into her feathers. Ivy made from homemade collage paper winds up the left hand side of the painting. Ivy has many symbolic meaning. For this painting, it symbolises the commitment and loyalty to ourselves and others when speaking our truth and being honest with ourselves.
