This Healing Angel  is formed from my own handmade collage papers, which were once a series of healing masks I painted while grieving the loss of my mum. Those masks held my sorrow, my love, my prayers, and my longing — and have since been carefully reworked into this angel, becoming a symbol of comfort, protection, and continuing connection.

Layered in warm yellows and golds, and muted earth tones, she carries a quiet, luminous presence. Her form feels both fragile and strong, as if she is gently holding space for grief, remembrance, and the slow unfolding of healing. This is an artwork born from lived experience — a piece that understands loss and honours love that never disappears, only changes shape.
