This whimsical hare painting is my second channeled piece in a series devoted to Chakra Divined Animals.

The first layer of fiery oranges was created with my hands making circular motions across the canvas.

After scrying the paint, this spiritual hare emerged. A female hare whose wisdom and message could not be ignored. She said to me as I painted, ‘Pay attention – pay attention to your body. Pay attention to your loved ones.’

And so I did.  So each stroke of orange and each circular movement of my brush reminded me that we are here to brake the cycles and patterns that are damaging to our bodies, relationships and culture.

This beautiful hare painting is painted with the colours of the sacral chakra using acrylic paints.

A healthy root chakra is essential for emotional balance, creativity and a strong sense of sensuality and sexuality. It is no surprise that hare showed up as she is is an ancient symbol of fertility.
