This cute owl art on hanging heart is part of my 365 days of owls. project.  Each owl is painted daily.  I believe that an owl a day keeps the darkness away.

This delightful and cute owl is a tribute to all the mothers out there doing an extraordinary and difficult job.  That includes step mothers, grandmothers, mothers who have adopted, foster mothers, mothers living apart from their children, mothers of angels, mothers who are estranged from their children and any other mothers I have missed out.

Mothers get a lot of flack. We criticise ourselves and we are criticised by others. But quite often, we are doing an extraordinary job under extraordinary circumstances.

And so I have painted this cute owl art on hanging heart to commemorate motherhood.  It is painted with acrylic paints and there are daisy motifs added as a tribute to my eldest daughter, Daisy.

This whimsical owl is painted with acrylics on a wooden heart measuring 10 x 10cm.  She is threaded with red ribbon and comes in a personalised envelope.
