This vibrant and colourful bird painting is part of my Freedom collection and it is the largest painting and so it makes for a true showstopper.  Freedom is the first collection of 2023 and all the birds in this series aim to inspire you to:

• Look for the love
• Feel the joy
• And find the courage to fly!

Inspired by Birds of Paradise and their dance of love, this colourful bird painting is all about ‘trust’.  When we trust our inner wisdom, we feel freedom.  When we trust in others we ask for help and we set ourselves free from taking on too much.

If we constantly over analyse and allow our suspicions to continually run the show, we stay stuck.

These two beautiful birds are at peace with one another and also content with themselves.  They are a great reminder to  continue learning to trust and feel that inner peace more and more. As this will ultimately bring us freedom.

It’s painted in layers of acrylic paint and inks, therefore giving the feeling of the birds emerging together as one. Three hearts created from homemade collage paper float around the birds surrounding them in the power of love.
