This soulful elephant painting is my first channeled piece in a series devoted to Chakra Divined Animals.

The first layer of fiery reds and earthy browns was created with the energy of the fire horse. Each tone gathering momentum of unique energy as they blended together.

After scrying the paint, this spiritual elephant emerged. A female elephant whose wisdom and message could not be ignored. She said to me as I painted, ‘Safety first. Are the children safe?’ This is a key element to a matriarchal society. It puts the children at the centre of its heart.

And our children are not safe right now and have never been.  So each stroke of red and each scratched texture are reminders of the scars we bear as a result of this collective uncertainty.

This soulful elephant painting is painted with the colours of the root chakra using acrylic paints.

A healthy root chakra is essential for grounding, stability, and overall wellbeing – influencing both our physical health and our emotional security.                                                

And so this root chakra elephant reminds us safety first – always.
