The lotus flower grows out of muddy waters with it’s roots firmly anchored in the mud below. The flower blooms above the water’s surface. This shows, that despite humble beginnings or difficult circumstances, you can rise too, opening your petals one at a time.

Beautiful and courageous colour combinations have been created with layers of acrylic paints and inks. It creates a luminous feel to the painting.
