All of my owls in this series celebrate both our inner wisdom and the flawed beauty of us all as humans.

This sumptuous owl painting also makes a huge colour statement.  She is painted using tones red and purple.  This is because she is a tribute to my beautiful daughter Ruby.

Just like Ruby, this owl is full of vibrant energy, lighting up the darkness wherever she goes. She is the colour of rubies, emeralds, gold and purple velvet. This owl has green eyes like Ruby that look out into the world with curiosity.,

Each flower has been created from my homemade collage paper. They add mystery.  Where is Ruby Owl headed?  What has the Universe got in store for her?

What is wonderfully unique about you?  What are you grateful for? If you don’t love everything about yourself just yet, starting with acceptance of who you are today is key.  I find it reassuring to remember that we are all naturally flawed by nature as a human.
